The Avett Brothers do a cover of the Townes Van Zandt song ‘Greensboro Woman’ and its a beaut.

A reminder, their new album I and Love and You, is now being released on September 29.

They also did a Tiny Desk Concert for NPR recently, which can be found here.

As if she wasn’t already a joke, the Old Town Ale House on Chicago’s North Side, recently unveiled a nude painting of Sarah Palin.

“I don’t see how she could be offended by this,” Bruce Elliot, the bar owner and artist of the painting said. “I made her into a sex figure.”

Hopefully he doesn’t attempt to turn John McCain into a sex figure.
