Before an interview with Fox News, Jesse Jackson made some striking remarks about Barack Obama, unfortunately for Jackson, the cameras were already rolling.
Jackson accused Obama of “talking down to blacks” and then goes on to say he wants “to cut his (Obama’s) nuts off.”
These are shocking remarks from a man known for his leadership in the black community.
Bill Shine, Fox News’ senior vice president for programming, said the civil rights leader did not ask Fox News to hold back the tape. But before the network even aired his comments, Jackson went on CNN Wednesday afternoon to preemptively apologize.
Jackson recently said his comments about Obama were misunderstood.
“There’s an unfortunate misinterpretation,” Jackson said. “The fact is, I endorse Barack without hesitation and support him today unequivocally.”
