Jim James recently stated in a Rolling Stones interview that he, M. Ward and Conor Oberst have plans to record an album together later this year.
The trio toured together a few years back, even doing a stint on Austin City Limits.
All three have been busy, releasing albums and touring with their respective bands this year. Jim James’ band, ‘My Morning Jacket’ recently released the critically acclaimed Evil Urges. M. Ward’s project, ‘She and Him’ with Zoey Deschanel, was released earlier this year and Conor Oberst is ditching his Bright Eyes moniker and is releasing a solo album in august.
