Avett Brothers Sign with Rick Rubin!!

The Avett Brothers have signed a deal with American Recordings and will work with record producer Rick Rubin on the band’s new album.
The Avett Brothers have spent the last week with Rubin working on the new album.
Scott Avett said he and his brother, Seth, see the new album to be “more progressive and moving forward.”
The Brothers won two Americana Music Honors in 2007 and are nominated for top duo-group this year.
The Avett Brothers are one of the most exciting bands I have heard in a long time. Mixing folk and bluegrass with a punk rock attitude. Seriously.

I grew up living down the street from Seth and Scott and they have came along way.Seth and I were good friends we went to A.T.Allen together.Anyway I just wanted to say I think that their success is great and now that they are with Rick Rubin I’m sure things will be all they ever shall hope for.The best of luck to both of you.
